For the week of March 13, 2010, Facebook has surpassed Google as the most visited website in the United States – quite a milestone for the social networking site. According to the stat collecting website Hitwise, this is the first time that Facebook has beaten Google for a whole week (previously Facebook had beaten Google for only a day). Google’s traffic isn’t declining though, it’s more that Facebook’s is increasing quite rapidly. I wouldn’t be surprised if Facebook beat Google for a whole month in the next coming months.
