It’s heading up to CES 2010 so it’s just about the right time for huge amounts of new machines to start flooding in for users to enjoy. Heading off the pack is the Lenovo line-up refresh, which has been officially released today.

First up is the new Lenovo ThinkPad Edge, which is rather sexy for a ThinkPad machine and will be available in a few different colors. At launch, you will be able to grab the 13-inch model (14- and 15-inch models coming later) with either an AMD Turion Neo X2 or AMD Athlon Neo X2 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Other features include WiFi b/g/n, optional 3G/WiMAX in-built modem, a built in card reader and HDMI out. It will come preloaded with your choice of either Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional (32-bit or 64-bit)

We’re also seeing an 11.6″ X100e “entry-level ultraportable” which will start at US$450 and includes the latest AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 CPU (other options arriving later) with ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, again up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage, a multitouch trackpad and the usual connectivity options. For the OS, you have a choice of either Windows XP, Vista or 7 (there’s even a DOS option, not that you’d choose it).

Bringing up the rear are 4 new classic-range laptops – the T410, T410s, T510 and W510 designed for the people who desire more power. The T410/T410s will boast a 14.1″ LED display while the T510 will have a 15″ LED display, The T410/T410s/T510 will contain the latest Intel dual-core CPUs, up to 8GB of DDR3, up to 500GB of storage with an SSD option available, Nvidia NVS3100m graphics and a DVD drive.

The W510 is similar to the other three, but is designated as a “mobile workstation.” It will pack either the latest Intel dual-core CPU or a processor from the Core i7 range, along with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of storage and Nvidia Quadro FX 880m graphics.

We’ll see more of these at CES 2010.
