About a week ago we posted that Opera is in the RC stage with a release date of September 1. Well, it’s September 1 today, so you can head over to the Opera website and download the latest and fastest version of Opera, complete with the new interface.
It’s still not as fast as Firefox, Chrome or Safari though…
We saw, back in July, that a few processors out of Intel’s Core i7 and Core i5 lineup will be launching on September 6th – and according to DigiTimes this date isn’t too far off the mark. They are claiming that Intel will be launching the new P55 chipset, along with the i5-750, i7-860 and i7-870 on September 8th, only a few days after originally rumoured.
Of course, we don’t know how accurate these reports are, but we have already seen the Core i5-750 unboxed which surely means that Intel has finalised most things and is ready for an imminent launch. However, as September 8 is not too far away, we will soon see these rumours confirmed (or we’ll be waiting longer).
