Today we see yet another version of Windows 7 getting released, but this one is special. July 13 marks the unofficial date of the release of the Windows 7 RTM and today we see a new, possibly RTM, version of the popular Microsoft OS branded as 7.7600.16384.090710-1945 or as many people are calling it: Build 7600. The build was leaked onto several torrent sites “advertised” as being the RTM. Unfortunately it is not certain whether this build really is the RTM or not; the number did jump a lot (72xx to 7600) but we may be seeing the final version released as a subset number change – 7600.16385 for example.
All should be revealed soon at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference when CEO Steve Ballmer is set to make a speech tomorrow. Fingers crossed for an RTM.
